The Advanced Practice Development Program™ is designed to help advisors create an actionable plan that supports their business strategy.
Purpose
Developing a sound plan for your business is half the battle. The other half is putting that plan into effect. For many advisors, executing their plan is a serious challenge. To help advisors move from knowing to doing, The Covenant Group has developed The Advanced Practice Development Platform™. This is an individual program and, as such, this program will solve the specific and unique challenges that you face in growing your business.
Process
The Advanced Practice Development Program™ is a 3-phased engagement process consisting of:
- One 30-minute pre-session conference call with a Covenant Group Strategy Consultant
- One 1-day intensive consulting session with a senior Covenant Group Consultant
- One 30-minute follow-up conference calls (45-days and 90-days)
- Webinars
- The Practice Development Portal (our online learning management system)
Additional Offerings

Prior to the one-day consulting session, you submit your most up-to-date business plan to us, as well as your responses to a short questionnaire, allowing your TCG Strategy Consultant to personalize the agenda focusing on your key issues.
During your one-day session, you will work with a senior Covenant Group Consultant to review, modify and refine your business plan to ensure it supports your business objectives. You will be challenged to ensure your strategies are robust, appropriate and can be implemented in a realistic and timely manner. We will assist you in mapping out your strategies and plans at a level of granularity that allows for easy implementation.
Using The Covenant Group’s ROA Process™, you will document in detail your personal Responsibilities, Objectives and Activities that support your business plan, thereby creating an implementation roadmap for the upcoming year and beyond. You will learn to use this process with your staff, ensuring their objectives and activities are aligned with your plan.
A Covenant Group Strategy Consultant will provide follow-up support after your consulting session to support you in implementing your plans.
