The big point of difference that separates The Covenant Group from the others is how this program steps above the strategic level and talks first to your mindset. My belief is that your thoughts drive beliefs, which in turn drive actions. That is the chain of events that happen before your success. Rebecca Horwood Without a doubt, I wish I could have taken this program 15 years ago. I’d probably be taking more time off, earning more and be much more satisfied with my business. The biggest revelation to me has been that there is a process for every aspect of this work. I have never been a process guy and now I see why I have attained the results that I have (that’s not baosting, by the way) because I didn’t have a process—for anything. I’ve read the E-Myth, been through the Bachrach program, read the sales journals and employed all the latest and greatest ideas/technology/products/etc. What I never had was a process. And that’s why I’ve struggled. My numbers so far aren’t moonshots from where I was—I am up about 9% from the prior year (I excluded a large sale which was in the works when I met you) but I’ve culled the low end of my client base resulting in a higher avg. assets per client. I know higher assets per client doesn’t pay the bills but it does reduce expenses which has helped profitability. Specifically, I now have: A mission to complete; A vision of where I want to go; An idea of who my target market is and what my ideal client looks like; A marketing process and budget(which is now crushing me but which I expect will pay most of the bills during the second half of the year); A process for my initial client interviews; A service process; An annual review process; A significant opportunity to make this ‘job’ a great ‘business’ with higher revenue and fewer hours. I don’t know how one can digest and implement all the information that has been taught in the time we’ve been together. That’s why it’s a no-brainer to me to continue the program next year.
